Anti-Aging Secret You Will Want To THINK About – Part 2
If you frequently think thoughts that make you feel bad, your mood worsens, your energy drains and you truly look worse for wear – haggard, older, cold, stressed, uptight, depressed, etc… If on the other hand, you frequently think thoughts that make you feel GOOD, your mood improves, you’re more likely to be optimistic, kind, feel happier more easily, etc.. THAT is reflected on your face as an energized smile, a twinkle in your eyes, more pep in your step, a more charismatic, lighthearted, friendly demeanor, and for some, less wrinkles! You look and feel more youthful!
You don’t need to understand the biochemistry involved in all this to understand and appreciate the Bottom Line. What You Focus On – the thoughts you think – either make you look and feel younger or make you look and feel older. It literally is your choice!!
So Ask Yourself – What do you spend most of your time thinking about/ focusing on: Worries or Wellness, Traumas or Triumphs; Horrors or Happiness, Stressors or Successes, B.S. or Blessings, Gossip or Good things, What’s Wrong with the world or What’s RIGHT with the world?
I invite you to discover whether you think more feel-good thoughts or more feel-bad thoughts.
Take note of who and what gets your attention. What are your primary thoughts, feelings and actions? Which is your dominant perspective – cup half empty, cup half full, cup running over, someone took my cup, what cup? Answers to these questions will show you which end of the spectrum you and your mind occupy more – the worry, overwhelm, anxious, depressed, hopeless, frustrated, negative end, or the appreciative, ease, enthusiasm, prosperous, relaxed, happy, positive end.
